This is one of my favorite poses of the little guy. You just tell him to stretch and he streeeeetches so big. Josh had to get in on the action, too, apparently.
Here is the only photo we have with his eyes open. Like most good newborns, he is a sleeper, so we have to hurry to snap shots of him whilst he is awake. Last night we had to force him to stay awake awhile so he would sleep through the night (which he did--good baby). Here is the documentation that he does, in fact, have a pulse. So cute!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Oh man, what a cute little man! I love, love, love all of that hair. And I am so glad to hear that the labor was nice and short and early. You are a lucky woman! So those contractions that I thought were going to turn into labor on Thursday morning were just sympathy contractions for you. :) We are good friends. I love you and am thrilled for you and I am also sad that I no longer live on the same side of the country. But I know that new parents take lots of pictures...so I'll be checking your blog often. Congrats, congrats, congrats! Isn't it amazing?! Love you.
YEAH!!! I am so delighted to hear he has finally arrived. He spoiled you by coming early! He is so very cute, Jessy. He has so much hair. I bet you can hardly contain all the excitement at the Madsen home. So happy for you guys! love ya!
I'm glad that becoming a Mama turned you into a photographer. Before Will was born I was worried that I would never see any pictures of him. (I know how good you are with a camera) He is so cute Jess, I can't wait to snuggle and love on him! Tucker needs some new friends, we haven't really been liking who hes been hanging out with lately. He needs a new crowd, I think a Madsen should be ok. :)
Congratulations!!! He is so darling. We are so happy for you guys. I can't believe what a lucky ducky you are to have him come 2 weeks early!! Oh, I am so jealous about that. I am so glad it all went well. And, he is so cute. He sounds like an amazingly good baby, too. Sleeping through the night?? So, you aren't awake all night long like most new moms? You are really missing out, let me tell you. Really, we are so happy for you. The best things are worth waiting for...
Oh, Jessy he is so beautiful. Well, handsome I guess. I wish we lived closer and could come and see him. We are so happy for you guys. And jealous, because my first never slept.
