I'll Eat Anything!

Just like his daddy, little Willy gladly eats anything and everything. Here he is eating my nose. I think it is the cutest thing ever. When hungry, Will gets everything a bit confused, eating my arm, my nose, my cheek. Once he finally finds the REAL source of his food, he is so very happy. Personally, I prefer it when he eats my nose. Breastfeeding hurts! (Please tell me it will stop hurting SOON)!

Breastfeeding is different for everyone. It took me a least 6 weeks to get it the first time. I used warm compresses during feedings.

Sure, it stops hurting soon, hahaha. No, really you kinda get used to it first and before you know it you realize that it doesnt really hurt at all, and you start to wonder when it actually stopped hurting. But it is sort of a searing pain for the first month or so.

He's so cute! I love all the pics. Breastfeeding does get better, just hang in there! I have horror stories from my first kiddo, but the second was much better. Good luck!

I just want to squeeze him he's so cute! With Nate, I was so surprised that no one had ever told me how hard breastfeeding was. If it's any consolation it just gets easier with each baby. If it's really bad ask your doctor for Vigilon. It's a gel strip that they use for burn victims. I was given it in the hospital with Jocy and nursing with her caused me absolutely no pain. It was amazing! Good luck!

ahhh! oh my gosh, i need to check your blog more often! congrats! willy is sooooo cute! breastfeeding pain went away for me after a few weeks. although, if it's hurting you other than just the normal nipple-toughening-up stuff, then he might be latching on wrong. if you think that's the case, you can usually stop by the hospital and have one of the nurses in the postpartum wing watch you nurse and help you do it correctly or you could call your pediatrician. anyway, i hope it gets better really soon. that really "sucks" (pun painfully intended).
