Happy 4th!

Just wanted to post a few pictures of the peanut's first 4th. We had a great, relaxing, calm day. The weather was gorgeous--78 degrees and NO HUMIDITY!!! Will slept in, took two fat naps and then we all ate some yummy hot dogs on our fire pit with some friends and played a fun lawn game called Kubb, which Josh and I won, by the way (not to brag, but we're pretty much awesome). Will went to bed and Josh and I took baths (yes, baths since our hot-water heater is broken, so we had to warm some water on the stove to bathe in, but bathing is necessary after a smelly, smoky fire) and then we went to bed. I know, our lives are exciting, right?

Will and his mama on the fourth of July (don't you love his little hand, cuddling with me?).

Will and his dada. Cute hat, eh?

I have vivid memories of a similar trip to Palmayra with a different child--greasy pizza and all. (Only minus the shopping-unfortunatley) At least this time around, no puking was involved in the car ride over. :) I'm glad the pack-n-play in the bathroom trick worked for Will, too. Works like a charm for Tuck. You do look great! I love that picture of you and him. He's so handsome! :) I'm SO excited for you guys to come.

Jessica Spear Madsen, You could totally be Americas Next Top Model! You're gorgeous! And I was going through all my old boxes and found an old RENT A WRECK t-shirt!! How funny is that?!

Look at all of us old friends blogging. I miss those good old days playing around, well I guess I do that now with my kids but my imagination isn't quit the same. I have to agree with how great you look and how adorable Will is. I hope we can meet up when you visit.

I have a function on my camera that I can set to have one color showing and have everything else in black and white. It's my favorite function, I am a huge fan of the Cannon Powershot cameras! You'll be in Spokane over Labor Day weekend right? I'm trying to convince Coox and Jason to go up then too! It would be fun to see everyone.

So I finally looked at the blog. I looked every day while we were in Costa Rica, but I haven't looked since we have been home. I love the rice cereal pictures. He looks like a floating head. I was fun talking with you this morning.

I haven't looked at your blot in forever. Will is getting so big. And your 4th sounds like a very nice evening. And the rice cereal pics are super cute.

Love, love, love that picture of Will and his mama. You are such a beauty, Jessy! Today for some reason I was thinking about how badly I wished that we lived near each other. I've got some good friends here, but not the kind of friends I can just get together and laugh with - they're all a little needy and so sometimes I avoid them and feel sorry for myself and wish that I could hang out with people like you more often. Today was one of those days. :) Anyway, love you and your little man. He is oh, so cute!
